HBW acted as quantity surveyors on this traditionally procured luxury house. The project was designed by John Beuvink of architecture BDA and comprised the demolition of the existing dwelling and construction of a new 5-bedroom high quality house. The project was shortlisted for the 2011 RIBA Spirit of Ingenuity awards.
HBW managed the cost of the project from inception through to completion and our work comprised an initial feasibility cost estimate, production of tender documents, analysis and recommendation on the selection of contractor, production of contract documentation, cost control and payment recommendations throughout the construction stage, and agreement of the final account.
