This project has been delivered in four phases within a live environment.  The extensive remodelling and refurbishment of a 170 bed hostel comprised the removal of small individual bedrooms and communal bathroom facilities and the formation of modern, spacious, private ensuite bedrooms for single seafarers and ex-service men.

HBW has utilised its project management expertise to direct design, manage delivery and monitor costs.  Because of the live environment and many vulnerable residents, HBW has nurtured the development of a successful and close collaboration between the client, design team and contractor to ensure that each phase is completed on time, within budget and with minimal disruption.
